Extremely dark and industrial sound that really drills into your head throughout the runtime. Theres a few cleaner songs like 1539 N. Calvert and I Cannot Fucking Wait Until Morrissey Dies but overall the record is dominated by this sludgy and extremely experimental soundscape thats both maintained very well and diverse enough to avoid getting stale. I think this style peaks with Rock N Roll is Dead and Whole Foods which both have very harsh and uncomfortable instrumentals that suddenly, near the end of the tracks, introduce these ethereal chords that break through that sludge and result in some almost spiritual highlights of the album.
