Twin Fantasy is one of the most emotionally potent records I've ever heard. It full of raw energy about love, loneliness, and maturing. It harnesses that longing for what was, and the fear that comes with knowing theres no reversing and that you can only move forward. Progress can be just as painful as what you're recovering from, because every step will remind you of why you started moving.

That is the core motif of the record; its a messy and hypocritical path to accept it.
